Join “No Kings!” Actions on Oct 18, 2025

The national LWVUS officially co-sponsors the upcoming nationwide “No Kings!”demonstrations on Sat., October 18, 2025.  This is the first time in many years the League’s national level has co-sponsored a protest like this. Of course, LWVMA and all other co-sponsors are committed to peaceful protest and nonviolence.

There will be a “No Kings!” event in Winchester in front of Winchester Unitarian Church as well as events in nearby communities and Boston.

The League has consistently and boldly spoken up in the face of rising authoritarianism. This is an opportunity to put words into action and show up in defense of democracy and as an effective ally. We encourage Leagues to lean in locally and participate in activations with partners on the ground in a nonpartisan manner.
